Painesville Community Improvement Corporation is an organization that has no paid employees. All activities, programs and events are planned and run solely by volunteers who care about the communities in which we live and work. We all share a passion for continuing to improve the Social, Economic and Beauty of our communities. We are always looking for like- minded individuals to help us with our endeavors. Looking for a fun, enriching and rewarding way give back to the Northeast Ohio music scene? These opportunities are fun and great for corporate team-building, groups of friends, students, and individuals looking to experience all aspects of a music festival. That involvement may be once a year or you may want to join us at our monthly meetings year round. Whatever your commitment may be, we always appreciate your help.

Painesville Party in the Park is a major event for Lake County. We attract over 60,000 people from all over Ohio and the USA for the 3 day festival to the city of Painesville. We have 30+ bands, 20+ performances in the Family Fun Zone on the Community Stage, 30+ Food Vendors and countless Profit, Non-profit and Artisan booths. PCIC also sells T-Shirts, 50/50 Raffle tickets, and lots of beer. Obviously an event of this size requires hundreds of volunteers and we welcome your help.

You could help direct traffic on set-up day, label the tents with the proper ID, show a vendor to their booth, set up umbrella tables, hang some lights. During the event you could sell drink tickets, help a band unload their equipment, help kids in the Family Fun Zone, answer a question for a guest, sign in another volunteer, assist in the Craft Tent. The list goes on and on. What do you get out of this? Loads of appreciation from the community and festival staff! The warm feeling of a job well done knowing that you contributed to the success of this event that funds so many great projects over the next year. And oh yeah, a free T-Shirt that you cannot buy anywhere!

The Painesville Community Improvement Corporation encourages and relies on the participation of volunteers who support our mission of promoting Painesville and surrounding communities’ Social, Beautification, and Economic vitalization. If you agree with our mission and are willing to be interviewed and trained in procedures, we encourage you to apply. The application will help us find the most satisfying and appropriate volunteer opportunity for you.

Availability Party in the Park Committee meetings are generally once per month leading up to the event.
Days of the Event volunteers are needed from 10:00am thru 12:00am, Set-up (7/18) from 11:00am to 8:00pm and tear-down (7/22) 8:00am to 2:00pm.
